About this distance
The Thunder River 50K is a mostly point to point traverse of the Columbia River Gorge that links iconic trail with nonstop scenery. After a shuttle (or drop off) to the start, you’ll work your way along the Pacific Crest Trail and Gorge 400 Trail before dropping into Cascade Locks beneath the Bridge of the Gods.
The finish includes a final loop around Thunder Island, surrounded by the Columbia River, before ending at Marine Park for a true Gorge finish line celebration.
