About This Race
Thunder River is a late-season Columbia River Gorge adventure staged from Marine Park in Cascade Locks. With a purely point-to-point 25K and a mostly point-to-point 50K, the courses showcase world-class Gorge scenery, fall colors, and epic views as they travel along the iconic Pacific Crest Trail and the Gorge 400 Trail.
Both races cruise under the Bridge of the Gods into Cascade Locks and finish with a loop around Thunder Island — a fitting, river-wrapped finale before crossing the line at Marine Park.
