Start at Smith Homestead before dawn and run north through the Tillamook State Forest. Navigate technical single track through lush temperate rainforest with brilliant spring foliage, fiddleheads, and wildflowers lining the trail.

Cross numerous streams and pass rumbling waterfalls as you climb through dense forest. Encounter massive "grey ghost" snags and charred stumps - enduring relics of the vast old-growth forest consumed by the legendary Tillamook Burn fires of 1933-1951. The course features sustained climbs, technical descents, and a million shades of green. Finish at historic Reehers Camp.
