The course features tight intermediate cutoffs at Tennessee Valley (8:00 AM), Cardiac (1:30 PM), Randall Trailhead (5:10 PM), and Bolinas Ridge (6:50 PM), requiring consistent forward progress.

Course Details
Course Overview
The race begins at Stinson Beach Community Center before dawn, with headlamps lighting the way up the Dipsea Trail through "the moors" and down Insult Hill. From there, runners traverse a stunning loop through the Marin Headlands, passing through iconic locations like Cardiac, Muir Beach, Tennessee Valley (with crew access), Bridge View, and Randall Trailhead (where pacers can join).
Terrain & Highlights
The course includes technical descents on Matt Davis Trail, challenging climbs on Bolinas Ridge, and breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Pacific Ocean, and San Francisco skyline. The final miles descend through redwood forests before emerging at the finish line back at Stinson Beach.
