About This Race
The Miwok 100K is one of the most beautiful and iconic trail ultramarathons in the world. Set in the Marin Headlands just north of San Francisco, this legendary race offers 62 miles of gorgeous trails, over 11,000 feet of elevation gain, and nonstop breathtaking views—from ancient redwoods to exposed ridge lines to crashing coastal cliffs.
This race is a Western States 100 qualifier and a UTMB Index race, making it a perfect stepping stone for runners aspiring to compete in the world's most prestigious ultramarathons.
The course challenges runners with steep climbs, exposed ridges, fast-changing weather, and tight intermediate cutoffs, requiring both physical preparation and mental fortitude. With a 15.5-hour time limit and aid stations stocked with everything you need, the Miwok 100K represents the pinnacle of trail racing in Northern California.
