A point to point with 500 ft of gain and 1, 500 ft of descent. 85 percent single track, one aid station at mile 7.1, and a net downhill profile that tilts this race squarely toward fast finish times.
One of the most welcoming trail halves in Oregon. A fitting first trail race, a solid tune up for a fall marathon, and an easy yes for anyone who wants to spend a Saturday morning running under the Three Sisters.
Shuttle departs Village Green Park in Sisters at 8:50AM for a 9:30AM start. No crew. No official cut off, but Alpine expects runners to hold a 3MPH minimum pace. Finish back at Village Green Park.
