About This Distance
A welcoming, scenic, and seasonally spooky point-to-point style adventure with the hallmark Snoqualmie Tunnel, the Annette Lake climb, and a smooth gravel finish back through the tunnel. We will time for safety, but no public results will be posted—this is about mindful recreation and community on the trail.
Course Details
Course highlights: Start on the Palouse to Cascades Trail and immediately traverse the 2.25-mile Snoqualmie Tunnel. Transition to the Annette Lake Trail for a forested, moderately technical climb to the lake and a minimal aid setup, then descend to a full-service trailhead aid station. Rejoin the P2C for a smooth rolling finish back through the tunnel to Hyak Trailhead. Surfaces include compact gravel, paved approach segments, and rooty/rocky singletrack. Aid: 2 stations (Lake ~mile 7 light aid; Trailhead ~mile 10.5 full aid). Generous time limit supports hikers and first-timers.
