Cascade Locks Trail Excursion — Imigisha × Trail Mixed Collective × Tierra Libre Run

A collaborative, beginner-friendly trail running day bringing together three partner communities Imigisha Running Club x Trail Mixed x Tierra Libre Run, with an emphasis on inclusion and support for BIPOC runners.
Imigisha Running Club × Trail Mixed × Tierra Libre Run are collaborating on this excursion. Tierra Libre Run will provide electrolytes and gels. Light snacks and drinks will be available in the morning.
Event Details
- Date: Sunday, December 7th, 2025
- Location: Cascade Locks, OR
- Meeting Spot: Gorges Beer Co. @ 9:00 AM
- Movement Options: 6-mile run | 3-mile run | 1.5-mile hike
Participants will enjoy a morning of trail running or hiking, with options for multiple distances and all pace groups being no-drop. After the activity, there will be an optional post-run/hike social at Gorges Beer Co.
Schedule
Transportation & Meet-Up (Portland)
- 7:45 AM: Meet at coffee shop (address shared privately) for carpools
- 8:00 AM: Depart for Cascade Locks
- Participants may also choose to meet directly at Gorges Beer Co.
Arrival at Cascade Locks
- 9:00 AM: Gather at Gorges Beer Co.
- Light breakfast snacks, water, and electrolyte drinks provided
- Tierra Libre will host a mini fueling workshop
Group Run/Hike
- 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Trail activity begins with multiple distance options
- All pace groups are no-drop
Post-Run/Hike Social
- 12:00 PM: Optional social time at Gorges Beer Co. with food and drinks
Wrap-Up & Return
- 2:30–3:00 PM: Return from Cascade Locks for those carpooling
- Participants meeting directly at Gorges Beer Co. can depart at their convenience
